Your bathroom is the one place you rely on to keep yourself clean and hygienic. But what good is it if it becomes the reason you fall sick? An unclean, unhygienic bathroom is the breeding ground for several disease-causing bacteria and viruses. An unclean bathroom can cause a lot of health complications. Thus, it only makes sense to keep your bathroom hygienic to keep yourself hygienic.

Remove everything that doesn’t belong in the bathroom:

When you come to think of it, it is quite regular for us to throw everything (that doesn’t find a place inside the house) into the bathroom. This includes a list of items, including dirty laundry, smelly socks, empty shampoo bottles and more. Thus, step 1 of keeping your bathroom clean and hygienic is to remove everything in your bathroom that doesn’t belong there. Do this once every week to keep your bathroom free from unwanted objects.

Cleaning the Toilet Bowl:

The next step is to clean the toilet bowl. For that, you’ll need an effective toilet cleaner, of course. We aren’t going to tell you which toilet cleaner you should use, but make sure to clean the flush handle and toilet seat along with the other inevitable areas of the toilet bowl. Pour the toilet cleaner. Make sure to be generous. Let the cleaning solution sit for about 5-10 minutes before scrubbing with a good, bristled, toilet brush. Lastly, press the flush button and wallahyour toilet will be clean and hygienic as ever.

No, we ain’t joking! Shaving foam is an excellent solution to stop your mirrors from fogging up when the bathroom gets steamy. All you have to do is spray it on your mirror, polish it with kitchen roll and tada! You get yourself a gleaming, steam-free mirror for at least two to three weeks.

Find the right cleaning tool for your faucets:

Before jumping on to cleaning faucets, finding the right cleaning agent is essential. And to choose the right cleaning agent, you must understand the finish of your faucets. While a vinegar solution is good for most, it might not work for all kinds of faucets. You can always check with the manufacturer about their recommended cleaning tool. In other cases, you can use a cleaning cloth and soap with warm water to wipe the faucet’s surface.
